Narasimha Kini leads our banking and capital markets and diversified industries market units and is also a member of the Executive Committee. He guides the overall strategy, business performance, and innovation across these industry segments. Kini and his team focus on delivering superior business value through active customer engagement and innovative solutions, leveraging EXL’s domain expertise, data insights, and AI capabilities. He also leads our Global A-Forum initiative, which aims to enhance colleague impact and engagement by fostering deeper alignment with EXL’s vision and strategy.

Prior to this role, Kini served as a global business leader for our emerging business unit and finance and accounting business. In this capacity, he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of strategy, client management, service delivery, and financial performance. During that time, he supported clients in the banking and capital markets, energy and infrastructure, retail and consumer, and travel and transportation verticals. Partnering with our digital and data teams, Kini led the incubation and deployment of various innovative AI solutions. He also spearheaded the development of EXL’s data and AI-driven CFO solutions, finance transformation, and risk advisory services.

Kini joined EXL in 2001 and brings more than 25 years of experience in business leadership, mergers and acquisitions, new product incubation, innovation, consulting, financial, and risk management. Before joining EXL, he worked with two of the Big Four accounting firms in their business assurance and consulting practices.

Kini is a chartered accountant and a certified public accountant (CPA) licensee candidate. He also holds credentials including CISA, CIA, CFM, and CMA, and has successfully completed qualifying exams as a licensee candidate for CISM and CISSP. Kini earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Mangalore University. He is an industry-recognized thought leader and has been a speaker on leading-edge topics.
