Vikas serves as the President and Head of the AI Services and Operations Strategic Growth Unit. His portfolio includes analytics and AI services, domain and finance and accounting operations, platforms, and payment integrity businesses. He chairs EXL’s Operating Committee and leads the company’s global delivery. Under Vikas’s leadership, EXL has consistently focused on fostering innovation and introducing new services, capabilities, and disruptive solutions that enhance customer value by leveraging the power of domain, data, and AI.

In his previous role, Vikas spearheaded the growth and expansion of EXL’s largest industry vertical, insurance. His leadership established EXL as the global market leader in insurance, earning the company recognition from industry analysts as a strategic partner for insurers worldwide.

Since joining EXL in 2001, Vikas has played a pivotal role in scaling global operations, building industry-leading practices, and expanding delivery across Asia, Europe, Africa, and Latin America. He has led several transformation initiatives, including the launch of platforms, asset-based services, value-based commercial models, and the adoption of a hybrid operating model.

Vikas holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.
